Q100068: How to report bugs

All customers have the ability to report software defects, this can be done by selecting the 'Create a Ticket' link at the top of screen and choosing the appropriate form.

Tell us how to reproduce the issue

In order for us to fix the issue, we first need to be able to reproduce it. Often a bug report will contain too little information or will have no reproduction steps to be of any use to the team. With precise, easy to follow steps, we can investigate the problem quickly and raise the issue with our product team.

Remember, without detailed steps to reproduce the problem it will be very difficult for us to reproduce and fix the issue.

Bug reporting template

When reporting a bug to our engineering team, we use the following format. This may help you ensure you provide all the relevant information to us:

What happens next?

Once we have reproduce the bug we will forward it to our engineering team. While we can't guarantee to reply to every customer who raises a bug, once we have reproduced it, we will pass on the bug ID number so you know it is in the system.
