Problem summary
The brush editor may sometimes cause a crash during projection which can cause the display monitor to change colours.

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Mari 3.0v4

2) Paint for a few minutes or project images with the brush editor open (perspective view)

3) The screen may change colour and crash Mari.

4) In extreme cases the monitor may go into standby mode.

Workaround
We are still currently investigating this issue in-house and have not been able to reproduce. If you are encountering this issue, please try:

1) Changing your Bake Behaviour in the Projection Settings (i.e. from AutoBakeAndClear to Manual or vice-versa.
2) Close the Brush Editor palette, restart Mari and try again. You will need to keep this closed when testing.

Not reproduced in-house. Confirmed by developers via MariLog.

Expected behaviour
Projection and paint should not cause any issues.

Actual behaviour
User reported their monitor flickering colours and closing Mari with no crash dialog.
