ID 326782 - In Mari 4.0v1, the cursor may 'stick' after zooming until the next mouse click

Problem summary
In Mari 4.0v1, the cursor may 'stick' after zooming until the next mouse click registers the placement correctly.

Customer reported platform
windows7

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Example Head (or watch the attached video)

2) Zoom in or out in the viewport (this also occasionally affects rotation)

3) Notice that your cursor does not immediately register. This is most noticeable with a Graphics tablet due to the natural 'lift' of the pen and wrist meaning that the artist is not touching the tablet after zooming but does also still occur when using a mouse should the artist remain still enough or let go of the mouse so that it does not register straight away.

Workaround
Unknown.

Reproduced by support
4.0v1 - Windows 7, 10, CentOS 7

Earliest version tested
Last working version: 3.3v1 (regression)

Expected behaviour
The cursor placement should register and update immediately regardless of whether or not the user clicks after navigation.

Actual behaviour
The cursor placement does not update until the user clicks which can cause inconsistencies and lack of accuracy in painting as they are not certain as to where the cursor is until they begin to paint.
