Dragging a grayscale .TIF from your file browser to Paint Buffer causes image cropping

Steps to reproduce
1) Download the attached image or create your own .TIF in grayscale
2) From your file browser, drag the image into the Mari Paint Buffer
3) You'll see that the image has scaled and cropped (Note, Tiled Image == true)
4) Import the same image via the 'Open Image' button in the Image Manager
5) You'll see that the image is now imported at the correct scale (Note, Tiled Image is set to False)
Workaround
Load the image into your Image Manager via the 'Open Image' button and the image should load as expected.

Expected behaviour
The full image should be loaded regardless of how it is loaded into Mari.
Actual behaviour
The image was cropped and scaled when dragged and dropped into the Paint Buffer directly from the file browser.
