ID 234930 - 'Height As Normal' layer makes halo artifacts

Problem summary
 
If you create a procedural cloud layer, and then add a 'Height as Normal' adjustment layer. A white halo appears around the edge of the model on Windows 7, when zooming in there appears to be white artefacts. On Mac OSX there are artefacts when zoomed in as well but it appears thre is a black outline.

Steps to reproduce

1) Create a cloud procedural

2) Create a height as normal adjustment layer

3) Observe the visual bug

Workaround
Convert the procedural to a paintable layer

No white Halo
