Problem summary Incorrect controls exposed for Adjustment Merge nodes in the Advanced Blending menu.
The controls exposed in the Advanced Blending menu are "Below Layer".
The Inputs exposed in the Node Graph for the Adjustment Merge node is "Over" and "Base".
Customer reported version Mari 4.0v1
Customer reported platform windows10
Steps to reproduce
1) In the Layers palette, create an Adjustment layer (i.e Brightness layer).
2) Open the Node Graph via the menu shortcut in the list docked to the far right of Mari.
3) Find the Brightness (Merge) node and double click on the Brightness node to open the node properties window.
4) In the node properties, switch to the Advanced tab. The control available is "Below Layer", but it should be "Over" and "Base" as highlighted in the picture below:
Workaround Manually create and hook up a standard Merge node instead:
1) Detach the Input/Outputs of the Adjustment (Merge) node.
2) Create a Merge node in the Node Graph via Tab > Merge
3) Attach the previous Input/Outputs to the created Merge node.
4) Check the Advanced Blending menu, you can now access the "Over" and "Base" controls of the Merge layer.
Reproduced by support This bug has been reproduced in: Windows 10: 4.0v1 3.3v1 3.1v3 3.0v1
CentOS 6.9: 4.0v1 3.0v1
Earliest version tested 3.0v1 - This issue appears to be in all versions of the product - This feature did not exist before this version
Expected behaviour Adjustment Merge node should expose the same options as a Merge node ("Over" and "Base") as these are the exposed Inputs for the Adjustment Merge node in the Node Graph view.
Actual behaviour Adjustment Merge node exposes "Below Layer" option, thus making it unkeyable depending on the Layer stack below the Adjustment Merge node.
