ID 216525 - Crash when rendering scripts with Particles, ZDefocus or OFlow on multi core machine without limiting threads with -m

Follow

Problem summary
Crash when rendering scripts with Particles, ZDefocus or OFlow on 54 core machine without limiting threads with -m
in command line.

In this report, the customer determined  that his script renders on the 54  core machine if threads were limited
in the command line to no more than 38.

Customer reported version
nuke.9.0v8

Customer reported platform
centos6

Steps to reproduce
Customer reported Seq fault  crash when rendering from the command line (no renderfarm) on certain render nodes
Centos 6, for example-

- 16 cores + 24 GB     (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU - E5530  @ 2.40GHz)       -----> Bladex001
***OK render

- 64 cores + 132 GB   (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2698 v3 @ 2.30GHz)      -----> Bladex147/148
***CRASH after 2 or 3 frames with ZDefocus or Oflow in script

- 56 cores + 132 GB   (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v4 @ 2.60GHz)      -----> Bladex149
***CRASH after 2 or 3 frames with ZDefocus or Oflow in script

1.
 It appears that the issue is related to the the Z-Defocus and the OFlow nodes at the bottom of the branch.
 When he disabled one or the other (or both) the script renders fine on any machines.

2.
 The crash only occurs when:
  - Rendering batches of frames, if launching the frames one-by-one every goes well.

3.
If the threads are limited to no more than 38 with -m in command line, the script will render
without crashing

Reproduced by support
Do not have the hardware to reproduce. The customer's example script is attached

Expected behaviour
render on 54 core machine without crashing

Actual behaviour
crashes on 54 core machine unless threads are limited
