Moving the mouse cursor over the viewer causes the playback to stutter/stop during the mouse movement. It slows down to a complete stop if you move the cursor in a steady movement.
This appears to be an issue on El Capitan, as Yosemite did not show the same problem, nor did Windows.

Steps to reproduce
1) Load in footage with noticable changes between frames (e.g. ColorWheel keyframed to rotate)
2) Play the sequence
3) During the playback, move the mouse cursor in the viewer
4) It should stutter and frame rate drop dramatically
