Steps to reproduce

1) Open attached XML work space file sent by customer and save it to ~/.nuke/Workspaces/NukeStudio

2) In Nuke Studio set this work space as default (Edit --> Preferences --> Startup -->startup workspace)

3) Restart Nuke Studio

Workaround
Unknown. 
Customer work space was recreated from scratch by support and does not crash Nuke Studio when set as default.

Unable to reproduce the crash in OSX 10.10.5, Windows 7

Expected behaviour
Nuke Studio to open with the default custom work space.

Actual behaviour
Nuke Studio crash with custom work space set to default.
