Problem summary
Folders with the same name except for increasing sequential numbers get importing incorrectly in Nuke Studio 10
Customer reported version
nuke.10.0v4
Customer reported platform
centos6
Steps to reproduce
1. Create directory structure as follows:
/temp/27/level1/04_0102_greenscreen/Final/Reel04.%07d.dpx
/temp/27/level1/04_0103_greenscreen/Final/Reel04.%07d.dpx
- notice that the 'level1' directory contains two folders one with 0102 and another with 0103 (this incrementation of folders is important)
2. Ensure footage exists in these folders (shouldn't matter what the footage is, but i rendered out dpx's from Nuke to be safe)
3. Open NukeStudio 10.0v4
4. Select the following two directories in the OS:
/temp/27/level1/04_0102_greenscreen/
/temp/27/level1/04_0103_greenscreen/
5. Drag and drop them into the Nuke projects bin
Result: they come in as one item that is 'off' and references the name 102. Nuke Studio seems to try and interpret these folders as a sequence.
This does not happen in Hiero
Workaround
Launch Hiero instead of Nuke Studio
Reproduced by support
Windows 8:
NukeStudio 10.0v4
Mac OSX 10.11.3:
Nuke Studio 10.0v4, 10.0v1
Works fine with the following:
Mac OSX 10.11.3:
Nuke Studio 9.0v8,
Hiero 9.0v8, 10.0v1, 10.0v4
Expected behaviour
Expecting folders to import correctly like in Hiero
