Problem summary
Dragging Firefox links into Nuke Studio results in BinItem pointing to Root
Customer reported version
Customer reported platform
fedora
Steps to reproduce
1. Open a text editor and copy and paste the following:
<a href="http://www.google.com">Google</a>
2. Save the file as 'index.html'
3. Open Firefox
4. File > Open > select 'index.html'
5. Select the word google and drag into the clips bin in Hiero
Result: if there isn't an item in the bin pointing to '/' already it creates one
- can't drag and drop from Chrome
Workaround
Unknown.
Reproduced by support
tested on:
OSX 10.11.3
Nuke Studio: 10.5v1, 10.0v4, 10.0v1, 9.0v8, 9.0v1
Nothing happens in Hiero1.9v1
Windows 8
NukeStudio: 10.0v4
Expected behaviour
For the item not to point to root. It's technically a bug, but is also not very surprising because http links are not supported by the application.
Actual behaviour
Link pointed to Root
