When using a Viewer Layout with multiple panes, selecting objects by right-clicking on them (to add them to a Working Set) only works correctly in one of the panes. For two panes side by side that seems to be the one on the right, for two stacked panes the one on the bottom and always bottom right for three or more panes.
In any other pane, right-clicking will select whatever is in the equivalent location in the pane on the bottom right.
Steps to reproduce
Open the attached .katana scene, or create a scene with a cube and a sphere next to each other and two cameras looking at them from opposite sides, so that in one camera view the cube is on the left and the sphere on the right and in the other camera the sphere is on the left and the cube on the right.
Change the Viewer Layout to “Two Panes Side by Side” and look through one camera in the left pane and through the other in the right.
Right-click on the sphere in the pane on the right. It is selected and highlighted correctly in both panes.
De-select the sphere and right-click on it in the pane on the left. If the location of the sphere in the left viewer pane is roughly the same as the cube in the right pane, the cube is selected instead of the sphere, otherwise nothing is selected.
