ID 251052 - Nuke incorrectly decodes the color information of DNG files

Follow

Problem summary
When importing DNG files into Nuke, the image is given incorrect image information, when compared to other software applications ( Resolve, Photoshop, etc.)
This can be displayed within Nuke's Viewer, via exporting a DNG into another image format in a separate application, and importing it into Nuke.

Comparing the DNG within Nuke and your other image will display anywhere from minor to major differences:

Customer reported version
nuke.9.0v5

Customer reported platform
windows7

Steps to reproduce
1. Open your other software application ( Resolve, Davinci, Photoshop, etc.)
2. Load a DNG image into the Viewer
3. Open Nuke
4. Read in the same DNG image and view the node.
Result: Via comparing both images, you will see differences.

Workaround
Export the files as a different image type (.exr or .dpx recommended)  from another software package and Re-import  the new sequence.
The re-imported files will display the same image as your other software application.
