Problem summary
When setting color management to Nuke, updating the monitor/8-bit files/16-bit files/log files/float files knobs will only take effect once. Any subsequent changes are not reflected in the viewer
Customer reported version
nuke.10.0v4
Customer reported platform
fedora
Steps to reproduce
Open Nuke10.0v4 /Nuke10.0v3
Read in a clip which uses any of the following Preference Knobs to populate its default colorspacevalue:
"8-bit files" (int8Lut)
file types that use this knob:
dpx - must be linear dpx with 8bits
tiff - must be 8bit
"16-bit files" (int16Lut)
file types that use this knob:
dpx - must be linear dpx with 16bits
tiff - must be 16bit
"log files" (logLut) - cin, dpx (depends on color transfer setting i.e. density or log rather than linear)
With color management set to Nuke, change the lut-knob in the Preferences knob to something else
NOTE: the colorspace knob on the Readshould change to match
Now repeat step 4
RESULT: nothing changes in step 5, or any subsequent attempt at modifying this knob
Workaround
Work in Nuke10.0v1 or 10.0v2
Reproduced by support
Reproduced on:
OSX 10.11.3 - Nuke10.0v3, Nuke10.0v4
Windows 8 - Nuke10.0v4
Unable to reproduce on:
OSX 10.11.3 - Nuke10.0v2, Nuke10.0v1
Expected behaviour
LUT changes to take effect and display in the viewer
Actual behaviour
LUT changes did not take effect and viewer remains on first LUT input regardless of knob changes
