ID 246917 - Values in Quick Editor fields aren’t kept when tabbing or clicking out

Follow

Problem summary
After entering a value in a field in the Viewer Quick Editor, this value isn’t kept if the user tabs or clicks into a different field. They are applied when changing another field afterwards, but the value entered in the other field doesn’t always stay.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Add a PrimitiveCreate node in the node graph.
  2. Press A to bring up the Quick Editor in the Viewer.
  3. Select the primitive and select the Scale Manipulators in the Viewer.
  4. In the first field enter a 2.
  5. Tab to the next field. Result: The 2 changes back to a 1.
  6. Enter 3 in the second field and click in the next field. Result: The 3 changes back to a 1, and the 1 in the first field changes to 2.
  7. Enter a 4 in the third field and hit enter or click on the blank space. Result: The 4 stays, and the 1 in the second field changes to a 3. All values now get applied.

Reproduced by support
Katana 2.5v4, 2.5v1 Windows 7
Katana 2.5v4, 2.5v1, 2.1v5, 2.1v1, 2.0v5, 2.0v1 RHEL 6

Not reproducible in Katana 1.6v3

Expected behaviour
The values added in the Quick Editor should always stick and be applied.

Actual behaviour
Whether the value sticks immediately seems to depend on the mode of “leaving” the field.
