ID 146809 - Writing EXR's to network locations via SAMBA is very slow

Problem summary
Nuke renders slower to SMB networks than NFS, for certain file types, such as .exr.

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Nuke

2) Create a CheckerBoard, and attached the Write node

3) Render a .exr file to NFS and SMB file locations, the SMB render time will be slower than the NFS one.

Expected behaviour
For render times to be consistent between SMB networks and NFS.

Actual behaviour
Nuke renders slower to SMB networks than NFS
