Steps to reproduce

1)  Paste the following nodes into the Nuke node graph:

Constant {
}
Expression {
channel0 rgb
expr0 "sqrt(-1)"
}
HistEQ {
}

2)  Connect a Viewer to the HistEQ node

result is crash

Workaround
Unknown.

Reproduced by support
OS 10.10.5
Nuke10.5v1, 10.5v2, 9.0v8, 8.0v7

doesn't crash outright on 7.0v10  but it hangs
