Keyboard arrows do not work in Nuke terminal mode (-t) in Unix based shells (i.e. OSx and Linux)

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Nuke in terminal mode:
Linux
/usr/local/Nuke10.5v3/Nuke10.5 -t

OSX
/Applications/Nuke10.5v3/Nuke10.5v3.app/Contents/MacOS/Nuke10.5v3 -t

2) Nuke will start

3) Attempt to navigate using the Arrow keys and [HOME] and [END]

4) Observe that the following characters are printed:

Up arrow: ^[[A
Down arrow: ^[[B
Left arrow: ^[[D
Right arrow: ^[[C

Not reproducible on Windows 7 in any version
Expected behaviour
You should be able to navigate around the terminal

Actual behaviour
The following characters are printed:

Up arrow: ^[[A
Down arrow: ^[[B
Left arrow: ^[[D
Right arrow: ^[[C

[HOME] and [END] both work incorrectly
