Problem summary
When caching locally, if you overwrite the original file located on a server and try to force update the cache through 'Cache/Localization/Force update/Selected it does not reload straight away.
Customer reported version
nuke.10.5v2
Customer reported platform
MacOS 10.11
Steps to reproduce
1) create Checkerboard
2) create a Write node and connect into Checkerboard
3) write out an image to a network location as test.exr
4) read in test.exr from server
5) create a Blur under test.exr Read node
6) Write out image to the same server location to overwrite file
7) select Read node and force update the cache with the 'Cache/Localization/Force update/Selected' option
Workaround
- If you 'Cache/ClearAll' this will refresh the localization, but this clears all caches which is not an ideal workaround for larger scenes.
- If you close the comp and re-open the comp, it refreshes the localization, but this also not an ideal workaround
Reproduced by support
This problem has been reproduced on:
Nuke 10.5v3 - MacOSX 10.12.15
Nuke 10.0v6 - MacOSX 10.12.15
Nuke 9.0v1 - MacOSX 10.12.15
Expected behaviour
When 'Cache/Localization/Force update/Selected' is selected on an image that has been replaced, it should automatically replace the image without clearing the cache.
Actual behaviour
The 'Cache/Localization/Force update/Selected' option does not refresh the localization after being written over in the viewer straight away.
