Problem summary
no error indication is provided on import of unusable .mov
import of corrupt .mov results in black unlabelled clip in the bin - no error indication, and you cannot drag it to the timeline; you can delete it, however

Steps to reproduce
1)
Launch Studio
2)
import corrupt .mov
(a copy called corrupt.mov is attached to this bug)
Workaround
delete the clip
trying to validate that the .mov is a good QuickTime by opening it IN QuickTime should result in the message:
'The operation could not be completed'.
