When a shot on the timeline is retimed using Editorial>Retime and is exported as 'Process as Shots' with 'Apply Retimes' unchecked, the resulting render of the shot will be un-retimed, for the re-timed duration of the shot on the timeline, and then black for the rest of the un-retimed duration of the shot.
For example, when a 100 frame shot is re-timed to 300 frames, then exported with 'Apply Retimes' unchecked, it will export the un-retimed shot (100 frames) + 200 frames of black on the end.
