ID 277903 - Katana's default viewer plugins cause crashes if used with a viewer using a different version of GLEW

Problem summary:

If a customer re-compiles the example viewer (or indeed any viewer plug-in) that makes use of the default viewer plug-ins (such as the grid, HUD or manipulator layers), and link against a different version of GLEW, it will cause a segmentation fault and crash Katana.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Rebuild the example Viewer plug-in from the bundle source.
2. Open Katana
3. Open the Example Viewer tab

Expected behaviour:

The Example Viewer tab should load and function correctly.

Actual behaviour:

Katana will crash with a segmentation fault.

Workaround:

No known workaround.
