Problem summary
Switching to Full Resolution Stereo output results in a single off color non stereo frame output on the monitor or black, and the following error message in the terminal window: CNTV2Card: IOCTL_NTV2_AUTOCIRCULATE_CONTROL failed
Customer reported version
nuke.10.5v4
Customer reported platform
fedora
Steps to reproduce
Download AJA driver from following link (may need to got through the process yourself though to get to this point):
https://www.aja.com/driver-download/cd7c369897f0206b16acfb89c7e077315c4bdadb
- Download the driver.
- Extract the zip/tar file.
- In a standard shell CD into ntv2projects and type make
- In a root shell CD into the bin directory
- ./loadoem2k
1. Open Nuke Studio from terminal on Linux:
/usr/local/Nuke10.5v4/Nuke10.5 --studio -V
2. Import EXR with two views (L,R) - I used: /mnt/netqa/Testing/Nuke/FileIO/exr2/weta_multipart_example/landscapeMultiPart.exr
3. Open monitor out tab
4. Set to Kona4 > 1080p 24.00 > 8-bit 4:2:2 > Single > view set to main
Result: outputs to monitor fine
5. Switch to Full Resolution Stereo with views set to L and L
Result: displays black and is non responsive
- for the customer the view displays the image in blue and it is non responsive. I believe the results I am seeing match theirs, but how the image displays can vary
- the following error message is also displayed in terminal, same as customer:
CNTV2Card: IOCTL_NTV2_AUTOCIRCULATE_CONTROL failed
Workaround
