Problem summary
Cloning Soft Effects in Nuke causes errors within scripts
Customer reported version
nuke.10.5v1
Customer reported platform
windows10
Steps to reproduce
1) Launch NukeStudio.
2) Import footage (Ctrl+I) and apply soft effect (right click the footage and select 'effects' and select Grade and then select and copy the effect. (Select it then ctrl+c)
3) Import second new footage and Clone in the soft effect onto it. (Select the initial soft effect and copy it (ctrl+c) move the playhead to the destination of your new footage and press ctrl+k)
RESULT
The cloned effect will sometimes error out becoming unusable.
Workaround
Instead of Cloning the desired soft effect, copy and paste it (ctrl+c, ctrl+v with the playhead moved) While the parameters won't be linked you could still create a "master effect" and then paste it into your corresponding footage.
