Problem summary
When GPU for viewer is enabled, and when wiping between two images, gain and gamma controls do not effect image.

Steps to reproduce
1) Launch Nuke.
2) Press "r" to read in footage. Navigate to a file and open it.
3) Press "Alt+k" to duplicate the read node.
4. Press "1" to load the first image into the viewer.
5. Press "2" to load the second image into the viewer.
6. Press "w" to wipe between the two images.
7. With the cursor over the viewer, press "s" to bring up the settings in the properties bin.
8. Enable "Use GPU for viewer when possible"
9. At the top of the viewer, adjust the gamma and gain controls.
Result: The image is not altered.

Workaround
Disable GPU viewer.

Expected behaviour
Image should be modified by the gain/gamma controls.
