Problem summary
A/B player will not load both A and B buffers from another sequence, only the A

Customer reported version
nuke.10.0v4

Customer reported platform
windows7

Steps to reproduce

1.  Launch NukeStudio, start a new project

2.  Right click in the project bin and select 'New > New Sequence'  ( Sequence 1 should appear in the bin )

3.  Right click in the project bin and select 'Import > Import File(s)'

4.   Follow Step3 three more times to import four visually-different clips

5.  In the project bin, double click on 'Sequence 1' to view the sequence within Timeline

6.  Drag two clips from the project bin to place them on the Timeline on tracks Video 1 and Video 2, at the same time marker

7.  Select anywhere in the Viewer and hit 'W' for horizontal wipe mode

8.  In the Viewer's B buffer pull-down, select 'Video 1'.
At this point, Video 2 should be in the A buffer and Video 1 in the B buffer.

8.  Right click in the project bin and select 'New > New Sequence'  ( Sequence 2 should appear in the bin )

9.  n the project bin, double click on 'Sequence 2' to view the sequence within Timeline

10.  Drag the other 2 of the 4 clips imported earlier from the project bin to place them in the Timeline as done in Step 6

Results:

  • Viewer A buffer displays "Sequence 2" and the B buffer displays "Sequence 1".
  • Using the pulldowns to load the A buffer only works with Video 2 from Sequence 2 but not Video 1.
  • You cannot load the B buffer with Video 1 or Video 2 from Sequence 2.
  • Sequence 1's tracks can be loaded in either buffer, but both buffers take the same track when you do.
  • You can switch the Timeline and Viewer back to Sequence 1 ( project bin double click on Sequence 1) and gain full control over A and B for either track of Sequence 1, but Sequence 2 cannot use the B buffer if you try again.

Workaround

To reset the 'B' drop down back to it's default state, close the viewer and open a new one entirely.

Earliest version tested
- This feature did not exist before this version ( Wipe layout UI different in Hiero1.9.1)

Expected behaviour
Viewer to provide ability to load any of the tracks of a sequence into the A and B buffers to use the wipe control

Actual behaviour
