Problem summary There has been an issue found when versioning and using path substitutions between two operating systems. If Hiero/Nuke Studio has two versions with one created as a results of the substitution, two new bin items will be created pointing to the same directory location.
When you add new versions of a clip, it should be incorporated into the same bin item, that that standard work flow when versioning up or down a bin item, a separate bin item should not be created through path substitutions.
Customer reported version Hiero 11.1
Customer reported platform n_a_windows
Steps to reproduce
Open up attached script and view the bin items, there are two clips with separate versions will be pointing to the same location.
Or
follow the below steps:
Part 1 - Windows Process
1) Within Windows, create a folder in any location and name it 'Export'
2) Within this folder, copy the media you intend to use within this reproduction within a folder called 'Source'
3) Create a new Hiero project and import the source footage as a clip, then drag into the timeline to create a new sequence
4) Save the Hiero project as Export.hrox to the 'Export' folder
5) Right-click on the Video 1 track and select 'Export'
6) In the Export dialogue box, select 'Process as Shots' and use the 'Basic Nuke Shot' preset and click 'Export'
7) Select the Export folder as the export directory for the exported media.
8) Open the Nuke script that was exported and render the clip using the Write node, save then close Nuke.
9) Within Hiero, right-click clip within the Video 1 layer in the timeline and select 'Build Track' > 'From Export Structure'.
10) Within the dialogue box select the 'Basic Nuke Shot' option. (This will use your export preset to roundtrip back into Hiero) Note: Ensure you select the dpx write node as the source to rebuild from, not the project file.
11) Once the new clip has been created in the VFX layer, save the project.
Part 2 - Mac Process
12) Copy the 'Export' folder to a Mac environment
13) Open Hiero project in the Mac environment
14) Within 'Preferences > General', alter the path substitutions to the Mac and Windows locations, the level where folder resides in within both operating systems respectively. (see below for example)
15) Open the Nuke script saved from the earlier export, save the script as a new version and render using the Write node
16) Reproduce steps 9 and 10 from above
17) Open up a spreadsheet window and the Read node information (if in Nuke 11 releases) and compare the two imported DPX renders. Result: Both clips are pointing the the same location, but have created two bin items based on versions. (see below) Workaround Unknown.

Expected behaviour Path substitution should not allow the creation of two separate bin items to be created pointing to one clip location.
Actual behaviour Path substitution allows the creation of two separate bin items to be created pointing to one clip location.
