Steps to reproduce

1) With a machine containing 2 GPUs, connect the monitor display to one and the HMD to the other.

2) Launch Modo and switch to the Modo VR layout. Modo crashes.

Workaround
Connect the monitor display and the HMD to the same GPU.

Expected behaviour
Modo should throw out an error message to warn the user of the problem and recommend the steps to correct the problem.

Actual behaviour
Modo crashes to Desktop instantly.
