3) Notice that a lot of error messages appear when the project is loading.

Alternatively, the bug can be reproduced with the following steps:

1) Open Hiero.

2) Import the attached file and drag it onto the Timeline.

3) Save the project and close Hiero.

4) Rename the directory that the clip is saved in to make it offline.

Holding down the Enter key will quickly close all of the dialog boxes. However, holding Enter down for too long may cancel the project from loading, as this may also press Cancel on the Loading Project dialog box.

Reproduced by support
This bug has been reproduced in:
Hiero 11.1v3 - Windows 10 - Mac OSX Sierra - Linux CentOS 7
Hiero 11.1v2 - Windows 10 - Mac OSX Sierra - Linux CentOS 7

Earliest version tested
Hiero 11.1v3 - Windows 10
This file format seems to only be supported in Hiero 11.1v2 and later.

Expected behaviour
The project should open with the clips offline and no error messages.

The project opens with error messages.
