ID 357576 - A segmentation fault occurs when rendering or reading using the DNxHD codec on AMD CPUs

Problem summary
When you try to write out any footage with the .mov filetype using the Avid dnxhd codec you encounter a segmentation fault.
This issue is isolated to AMD processors, INTEL processors render the footage without issues.
The issue has been regressed to Nuke10.5v3
 
Workstation reproduction:
CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x
GPU: AMD Radeon Pro WX7100

  centos7 
 
Steps to reproduce
1.  Open Nuke
2.  Create a Checkerboard node
3.  Create and attach a write node
4.  Choose your export file path ( making sure to use the .mov file extension )
5.  Change the codec to "Avid DNxHD Codec"
6.  Try to render
Result: You should now be kicked out of Nuke because of a segmentation fault
 
Workaround
 
For Nuke 12.2, install the Nuke 12.2 FileIO package:

- This issue no longer appears in this version and has regressed
 
Expected behaviour
You should be able to export using the DNxHD codec
 
Actual behaviour
You encounter a segmentation fault while trying to export using the DNxHD codec. A crash also occurs when using an .mxf with the DNxHD codec.
