Problem summary
Shared a channel into a mask stack causes inconsistent results
Customer reported version
3.4v1
Customer reported platform
centos6
Steps to reproduce
1) Open the attached project
2) Set the attached OCIO config
3) Open your Channels Palette and your co-aligning mask stack where:
1. The X_MaskDirt channel is linked into the mask of the “G” Layer
2. the X_MaskDust channel is linked into the mask of the “R” Layer.
4) Compare these mask stacks to the shared channel. These should match but do not.
Workaround
To workaround this applying an Adjustment layer sRGB2Linear (inverted) to the R/G masks appears to make the results closer to expected.
Reproduced by development
3.4v1 - Win 7, CentOS 7.5
Expected behaviour
There should be no obvious differences between the mask and the shared channel layer when viewed. These should be the same.
Actual behaviour
It appears as though colorspace transformations were taking place and results were inconsistent when viewing the shared channel layer and the mask.
