Problem summary
The Thicken tool produces different results despite no changes being mentioned in the release notes. Using the same settings between Modo 12.1v1 and 12.0v1, the Thicken tool alters the mesh differently in each version. This can produce unexpected results relative to previous versions.

Steps to reproduce
1) Open Modo.
2) Hold "Ctrl" and click the cylinder tool (Located in the top left of the modeling layout) to create a unit cylinder.
3) Press "3" to enter polygon selection mode, then double click the cylinder to select all the faces.
4) Select the Polygon tab, then select the Thicken tool.
5) Set the following values, then press "apply"
Offset: 100 umScale: 100.0%Max. Smoothing: 90.1 degreesThicken enabledSharp enabled
Result: Modo 12.1v1 and produces different results than prior versions.
