ID 377392 - In a scene with render proxies referencing MDD caches, animation is only updated correctly for one of the proxies

Problem summary
When there are multiple render proxies in a scene which both reference geometry animated using an MDD cache, then only one of the animations plays.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download the attached files.
  2. Open "Demo Scene.lxo" and start a Preview Render.
  3. Scrub the timeline.

OR, to reproduce in a new scene:

  1. Create a sphere on a Mesh layer.
  2. Add a Lattice Deformer Mesh Operator.
  3. Animate some of the Lattice points.
  4. Select sphere Mesh item. Animate > Export MDD...
  5. Delete the deformer.
  6. Apply the MDD by adding Mesh Operator > Deformers > Influences > MDD Influence and selecting exported MDD file.
  7. Right click sphere Mesh item > Convert to Proxy
  8. Save scene with proxy.
  9. Open file that was just saved as proxy.
  10. Select MDD Influence.
  11. In Properties tab, change Start Time and End Time so the animation is offset.
  12. Right click sphere Mesh item > Convert to Proxy.
  13. Save scene with proxy.
  14. Create a new scene.
  15. Import both saved scenes with the proxies. Select one of the proxies and move it .
  16. Select proxies in the Items list and make sure Preview Rendering under Properties is set to Render Item.
  17. Preview Render the scene and scrub the timeline.

Expected behaviour
The animation on both spheres updates correctly in the render.

Actual behaviour
The animation on only one sphere updates correctly, it doesn't update on the other sphere.

Workaround
Manually re-select which mesh should be rendered.
