Follow

Problem summary
Error message when selecting the same directory more than once for the UDIM Wizard:

This error prevents users from selecting the same directory with the UDIM Wizard, and it remains across Modo sessions.

Customer reported version
modo.10.2v4

Customer reported platform
10.13

Steps to reproduce

1) Launch Modo on a macOS machine.

2) Switch from the Item List to the Images tab.

3) Select Add Clip > (new udims). Select an output directory.

4) The UDIM Wizard will appear; use the default settings by clicking OK. A udim_image clip will appear in the Images tab.

5) Repeat step 3, selecting the same output directory. After confirming the default options on the UDIM Wizard, the error message will appear and no new udim_image clip is created.

6) Relaunch Modo and try again to create a udim_image clip in the same output directory - the error will still occur.

Workaround
- Select a different directory

- Reset configuration file
