Problem summary:
The Tools gizmo will shift to a closer polygon when rotating/zooming the viewport while Symmetry mode is active.

Steps to reproduce:
1) From Modo, create a new Sphere mesh.
2) Select the Sphere to activate the selection, then choose the Polygon selection mode.
3) Enable the Symmetry-X mode for selections.
4) Click anywhere on the active Sphere mesh, and observe the selected polygons.
5) Press the W,E,R shortcuts on the keyboard to enable a Tool gizmo.
6) Pan the viewport to the symmetrical polygon on the opposite side of the Sphere mesh.
7) Zoom in towards the polygon and change the Tool, observing the gizmo placement.
Workaround
Do not zoom in towards the face of the polygons when changing the current Tool.

Expected behavior:
The Tools gizmo should remain in place on the face it was created when changing between Tools.
Actual behavior:
The Tools gizmo is placed on the closest zoomed-in face when changed.
