Images projected through a Projector are darker than expected

Steps to reproduce
1) Open your Projectors palette
2) Create a Projector
3) Scroll down in the Projector properties and select an image
4) Project
5) The image is projected darker than expected
Workaround
Modifying the Projectors' Color Depth from 8bit to 16bit fixes this issue
