Problem summary
Wireframe overlay on a selected mesh gradually decreases in opacity when using a Dissolve Constant layer in the assigned material. This issue only occurs when the Advanced viewport display is used.

Steps to reproduce
1) Create a sphere.
2) Select the cube and assign a material by pressing "M".
3) Change Viewport display to "Advanced".
4) Open the Shading tab. Add a "Constant" layer in the new material and change the effect to "Dissolve".
5) Select the "Constant" layer. Go to Texture Layers tab and gradually decrease the "Constant" value.
6) When the "Constant" value is decreased gradually, the wireframe overlay on the actively selected mesh starts to disappear (please see the image below):

Earliest version tested
Modo 11.0v3 - Issue no longer appears in this version and has regressed.
Expected behaviour
Wireframe overlay should not gradually decrease in opacity when a Dissolve Constant layer is used on a selected mesh in the Advanced viewport.

Wireframe overlay gradually decreases in opacity when using a Dissolve Constant layer in the Advanced viewport.
