This applies for any adjustments such as Exposure, Gamma, Black & White, etc.
Customer reported version:

Customer reported platform:
macOS 10.11
Steps to reproduce:
1) In Photoshop, create a layered PSD image with at least 1 adjustment layer, such as Exposure.
2) In Modo, import the layered PSD as a Clip item in the Clips Browser.
3) Apply the layered PSD clip to a mesh to view the material.
4) Disable the gamma correction layer from the Clips menu and observe any changes.
Workaround:
No current workaround is available for adjustment layers, however, the user can set the Gamma field in the Properties menu of the material, if needed.
