ID 380135 - A crash occurs when executing the WriteGeo node with an .ABC or .FBX file with multiple frames while the 3D Viewer is active

Follow

Problem summary:
A crash occurs when executing the Writegeo node with an .ABC or .FBX file with multiple frames while the 3D Viewer is active.

Crashing that occurs when executing the .FBX file is intermittent, but it can render with multiple frames.

This has been seen to render without issue when using fewer than 100 Geometry meshes in a scene.

Customer reported version:
nuke.11.3v1

Customer reported platform:
n_a_mac

Steps to reproduce:
1) From Nuke, create a Scene node.

2) Create a geometry node such as a Sphere and attach it.

3) Repeat step 2 until there are 500 Geometry items in the Scene.

4) Attach a WriteGeo node and set the file to .abc.

5) Set the Viewer to show the 3D Scene.

6) Select execute on the WriteGeo node and render 10 frames, observing stability.

Workaround:
A crash will not occur when rendering the .ABC file format with a single frame, or when the Viewer is in 2D mode.
