ID 389634 - Editing user groups back to back causes the Flix client to become unresponsive

Problem summary
Trying to edit groups on users back to back via typing in the Groups field causes the Flix UI to become unresponsive.

Once one user's group settings have been edited and saved, if you try to change another users group by typing in the Groups field and selecting from the dropdown that appears, Flix hangs, and the client needs to be restarted to recover.

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Admin/ Management Console

2) Go to User Management

3) Edit group info for a user (ie. remove existing group, add them to a new group etc.)

4) Hit 'Edit' to commit the change and dismiss the banner shown at the top of the Flix UI displaying success

5) Select another user

6) Start typing in the Groups field to search for a certain group

7) Try to click the group desired from the dropdown list that appears

 

Expected behaviour
The group clicked is selected and appears in the users Groups list

 

Actual behaviour
The typed text disappears and the dropdown list is stuck open, with the Flix UI becoming unresponsive, requiring the Flix client to be restarted to recover.

 

Workaround
Restart the Flix client and return to the User Management screen to set the group for the second user
