Rendering ProRes files from Nuke can result in lines across the image.

This issue appears to happen with ProRes 422 and ProRes 4444 codecs but not other codecs, such as H264 or DNxHD.

Steps to reproduce

 

1) Write out a .mov file and ensure that the codec is set to ProRes 4444 or ProRes 422

2) Read the file back in and you should be able to lines across the image, like so:  

 



3) Increasing the contrast of the image may also make the lines easier to see.

 

There is also a script attached which demonstrates this issue.

 

Expected behaviour
These kinds of artefacts should not be visible on the image. 

 

Actual behaviour
Rendering Prores 4444 or Prores 422 files from Nuke produces lines across the image.

Nuke 8.0v7 - Windows 10 - macOS 10.12 (Sierra) - Linux CentOS 6

 

Earliest version tested
Nuke 8.0v7

-ProRes files cannot be rendered in Nuke 8
