Problem summary
Entering long strings into Modo causes it to crash.

Steps to reproduce
1) Open Modo, navigate to the Setup layout.
2) In the Items list select Add Item>Items/Locators>Locator.

4) Right-click the locator in the Schematic Viewport and select Add User Channel...
5) In the Create User Channel window set the Username to Test and the Type to String.

6) Navigate to the locator's Properties and select the User Channels tab, in the text field next to Test enter a large string. As an example, I counted 0-300.

7) Press enter and Modo will crash, you may have to wait a few seconds depending on what version.
Expected behaviour
For Modo not to crash when large strings are added.
Actual behaviour
Modo crashes when large strings are added.
Workaround
Unknown.
