ID 217842 - Writing EXRs to a directory containing non-ASCII characters fails on Windows

Follow

Problem summary
Nuke cannot Write EXR files to directories which contain non-ASCII characters.

For example, if a Write node attempts to export "path/to/¡¡¡¡¡/test.###.exr", the render will fail and an error prompt will appear.

The error prompt appears to be due to issues with a .tmp file finding the folder.

This issue only affects Windows operating systems.

Customer reported version
nuke.11.1v2

Customer reported platform
n_a_windows

Steps to reproduce

1) Open Nuke

2) Create a Checkerboard node and connect it to a Write node.

3) Set the File knob to a directory and file like the following: "path/to/¡¡¡¡¡/test.###.exr"

4) Render the script

Result:  Nuke will not render, an error prompt will appear.

Expected behaviour
Nuke renders the EXR to the chosen folder.

Actual behaviour
Nuke fails the render and throws an error prompt

Workaround
Removing the non-ASCII naming convention resolves the export problems.

If you need to use non-ASCII formatting, using a different file format provides the correct results.
