Problem summary UV unwrapping algorithms are unable to adequately unwrap certain meshes.
Customer reported version modo.13.0v1
Customer reported platform windows10
Steps to reproduce 1) Open Modo. 2) Select File > Open and load the attached example scene. 3) Open the UV editor using the left viewport toggle. 4) Set UV: to "Texture" if its not already selected. 5) Press "3" and double click the UV island located in the 0 to 1 space to select it. 6) Use any combination of the UV unwrapping tools. For a quick example, select the UV relax tool with the default settings and increase the number of iterations. The mesh will continually expand and distort. Result: Modo will not output a satisfactory result despite the relatively simple shape of the mesh.
Expected behaviour Modo should unwrap most meshes with little distortion/self intersection.
Actual behaviour Modo cannot unwrap some meshes, including some relatively simple meshes.
Workaround In this instance, removing any edges that end in an N-Gon can produce a more satisfactory unwrapping result at the cost of silhouette.
