Steps to reproduce

1) Launch Modo, Open the Item Properties tab and select User Channels.

2) Open the Graph Editor, Layout>Palettes>Graph Editor.

3) Create a new User Channel and set the Channel Name as Test.

4) Right-click and edit the newly created User Channel, and change the Name to Error.

5) Modo either crashes instantly or when you click into the graph editor.

Expected behaviour
For the channel to be renamed.

Actual behaviour
Modo crashes.

Workaround
When renaming a channel only have one channel instance open.
