Problem summary:
The time to load increases incrementally when loading a project in the same Nuke Studio session.
In Nuke Studio 10.5v8 the loading times are drastically decreased and usually hit around 4 seconds per load, never increasing more than that.
Customer reported version:
nuke.11.3v3
Customer reported platform:
n_a_mac
Steps to reproduce:
1) In Nuke Studio on Windows, create a project with a lot of Quicktime files.
2) Bring the QT files to the timeline and save the project.
3) Quit and exit Nuke Studio, and then relaunch it.
4) Open the previously closed project and note the time until it loads.
5) Close the project and re-open it, keeping the same Studio session open.
6) Repeat steps 4 & 5 as many times necessary to view the increased time to load.
Expected behavior:
Projects should load faster or at the same speed when closing/re-opening the same project in Nuke Studio.
Actual behavior:
Project loading times increase by at least 10-12 seconds for each time it is closed/opened in the same Nuke Studio session on Windows. In macOS the time is increased by about 2-4 seconds, incrementally.
Workaround:
There is no workaround available at this time.
