Problem summary
PowerTranslators imports certain STEP files incorrectly and generates artifacts. These appear in the form of "spikes" or clusters of polygons.

Steps to reproduce
1) Open Modo.
2) Import the attached STEP files via Power Translators.
Result: Some polygons/items are corrupted in the form of spikes.
 
Expected behaviour
Mesh should import correctly relative to the original package.
 
Actual behaviour
The mesh can become corrupted relative to the original package.
 
Workaround
Unknown.
