ID 400968 - If the Up Axis is set to either X or Z and you set the Perspective to either Top, Bottom, Back, Front, Left or Right when you Render Current View the object is rendered in an incorrect direction.

Problem summary

If you set the Perspective to Right and then press the F10 key to render the current view, the item within the rendered image would be facing the incorrect direction.

Steps to reproduce


1) Open Modo and create a simple cone.

2) Go to System>Preferences>Input>Units>Coordinate System and set the Up Axis to Z.



3) Set the Perspective to Right, and pay attention to the direction of the cone.



4) Now selection Render>Render Current View, notice that the cone is rendered facing a different direction.



Expected behaviour
The cone should be rendered identical to how it looks in the 3D viewport.


Actual behaviour
The cone in the rendered image faces a different direction.
