Dragging User Channels from an items properties into the Schematic Viewport can crash Modo.


This only seems to occur on OSX versions of Modo.

Steps to reproduce


1) Launch Modo and open the Schematic Viewport.

2) Select the Mesh item and go to the User Channel tab in the Properties panel, and select Add User Channel.


3) Give the new user channel a name and for the Type field select String.

4) Drag the string channel from Properties panel to the Schematic Viewport and Modo will crash. If it doesn't, you may need to close and reopen Modo and complete the steps again.


Expected behaviour
String channel should be added to the Schematic Viewport.


Actual behaviour
Modo crashes.
