ID 411123 - [S] Email not working using office365 SMTP server

This is now possible with Flix 6.3.0, but will require the 'send_from' SMTP option to be configured in your server's config file.

Problem summary

Publish email does not send when using office365 SMTP server.

Steps to reproduce

1) Configure office365 as the SMTP server

2) Do a publish which should send an email to the people on the show list

Expected behavior

People on the show list should receive an email

Actual behaviour

Mail doesn't get sent.

Workaround

From Flix 6.2.0 it is possible to set the email address of the admin user in Flix to be the same as the address used to connect to the SMTP server. This should allow for the publish emails to be sent successfully.
